In this position you work as a member of the Resilience-FIMA, Risk Management, Actuarial & Catastrophic Modeling Branch. The ideal candidate for this position will work as a professional actuary and holds an Associateship or Fellowship from an American or International Actuarial Society. Typical assignments include: Performing quantitative analyses, statistical, and actuarial support including rate-making for existing and for new coverages based on consideration of loss experience, actuarial models, and catastrophic models. Studying the catastrophic loss funding requirements unique to the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP).
